National Poll Worker Recruitment Day Toolkit

The female election volunteers sit at the table and greet voters to the community center.

National Poll Worker Recruitment Day is a national day of action established by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission to inspire civic engagement and encourage people to sign up to be poll workers. On August 1, National Poll Worker Recruitment Day is an opportunity for us all to support. The Civic Trust® aims to recruit more poll workers and expand Civic Time Off.

We need your help to spread the word! Every like, comment, and share make a difference. Please use this toolkit to get started. Thanks for your support!

  • #HelpAmericaVote! Increased #CivicEngagement has positive benefits for businesses, communities, and employees, which is why we encourage employees to volunteer as nonpartisan poll workers. Volunteering not only gives employees first-hand knowledge of the civic process, but it also helps employees fill crucial gaps in poll workers, strengthening our civic culture.
